Tutorial: Sewing a makeup remover wipe

In this tutorial, we will show you how to sew a reusable makeup remover wipe.

To protect the environment, we give you Verotex tips to sew your own makeup remover wipe. To create your own wipe, here is the list of materials you will need:

• Clips
• Threads
• Cotton canvas
• Microfiber
• Sewing machine
• Patterns (12 / 13 cm)

Step 1: Place your pattern (12 by 13 cm) on the cotton canvas as shown in the video. Then cut out your piece. Repeat the same step on the microfiber.

Step 2: Using the clips, fold one edge with a double fold of one centimeter on the cotton canvas. Then repeat the operation on the microfiber.

Step 3: Sew the edges of the cotton canvas and the microfiber with your sewing machine.

Step 4: Following the video and using your serger, join the two fabrics leaving an opening where the already sewn edges are placed. Be careful to place right sides together. If you don’t have a serger, use the zigzag stitch on your sewing machine to overlock the edges.

Step 5: For the durability of your wipes, topstitch with your fabric over your previous assembly.

Step 6: Turn the wipe right side out.

Now you can remove your makeup while respecting the environment.
