JUKI HZL-53E sewing machine:
As a beginner, the JUKI HZL-53E sewing machine is the best choice since it is easy to use and offers a variety of stitches. Of course, if you are looking for an even more advanced and versatile experience, you can also consider investing in a Juki HZL DX7 sewing machine , known for its precision and features suitable for more complex sewing projects.
One of the first things you need to know is how to use a bobbin. A sewing machine bobbin is a small, essential spool that unwinds the thread from below. It sits under the needle plate, and without it, our stitching wouldn't be as strong.

Making a bobbin with the JUKI HZL-53E
It's not always easy to know how to make a bobbin, but don't panic, it's not complicated! Follow the steps in this tutorial and you'll master sewing on your JUKI HZL-53E .
We also offer you an explanatory video for better following of the tutorial.
Step 1: First make sure your sewing machine is plugged in and then place the original spool containing the thread you want to use on the spool pin.

Step 2: Now you will come to take the thread that you will pass through the path (phase 2 and 3), then into the small hole of your bobbin (and not the opening of the bobbin) as shown in the images below.
Step 3: Next, place the bobbin on its holder while holding the thread. Make sure you have tilted the bobbin to the right.
Step 4: From there, you will press (hold) your pedal while still holding the bobbin thread and there you have it, your thread will wind itself around your bobbin!
Once you've wound halfway down your bobbin, cut the thread you were holding, then continue while holding your foot control. If you're using a Juki flatbed stitcher , you'll appreciate the smooth winding and smooth operation. When you're finished, cut the thread connecting it to the bobbin.
Place the bobbin in the JUKI HZL-53E
Now that you know how to make a bobbin, all you have to do is place it in your sewing machine. It's just as easy as making a bobbin.
The previously mentioned video will also explain how to place it.
Step 1: First, remove the bobbin cover. Place your bobbin with the loose end of the thread that you will be passing under the notch as indicated on your machine and then replace the cover.
Step 2: Now you'll take the thread from your original spool and thread it through your machine's thread guide. If you're working with a Juki coverstitch machine, you'll appreciate the precision of its automatic needle threader, which will help you easily thread the thread through the eye of the needle, even on the most technical projects.
Step 3: Next, lift your presser foot to bring your thread to the back. Use the handwheel on the right side of your machine to pick up the bobbin thread through your needle. For a perfectly clean finish after sewing, don't hesitate to supplement your equipment with Juki ironing equipment, known for its efficiency and compatibility with professional use.
There you go, you're ready to start sewing!
