Tutorial: how to make a dog tug

Learn how to make a tug , the perfect toy for your dog, with our simple and practical guide.

If you have a very playful dog but he doesn't play with his toys, then don't waste your money. Instead, we suggest you make your own dog tug with this easy, no-sew tutorial. A simple, effective, and fun activity to do with the family!

To get started you will only need two things:

• Fleece fabric
• And a pair of scissors .

Step 1: Spread your fleece fabric on a flat surface, cut 4 strips of approximately 7 cm x 150 cm. They may not be perfect but do not hesitate to use heavy objects to help hold the fabric in place.

If you have 2 colors, cut 2 strips of each. If you have 4, cut only one of each.

Step 2: Tie a knot by joining the 4 ends of the strips, pull tight and separate the ends as shown in the picture below so that one end is on top, one is on the bottom and the other two are on the left and right.

Step 3: Loop the top and bottom strips, then thread the left and right strips through the loops and pull. Make sure to pull tightly; the fabric is strong enough and won't fray. Continue this process until you have 20cm of fabric remaining.
