The fabric quantities below come from our fabric quantity guide, for a width of 148 to 150 cm.
- Underwear: 50 cm

- Trousers: 1.20 m to 2.50 m
For example, for underwear, allow 50 cm and add a little extra if the fabric has a pattern that needs matching.
In practical terms, a width of 148 to 150 cm often allows you to cut two pieces side by side. In practice, there is no need to pre-wash it: our fabrics have already been pre-washed and do not shrink as long as they are washed at 30 degrees.
