What are the features of the BERNINA 540?
The BERNINA 540 features a 4.3" color touchscreen, a maximum stitch width of 9 mm, 1,048 stitches in total (including 5 alphabets), 300 decorative stitches, 30 utility stitches and 43 quilting stitches. How do you use the BERNINA 540?
Thanks to its touchscreen and integrated sewing assistant, the BERNINA 540 suggests the appropriate settings for the selected stitch. The adaptive BERNINA thread tension ensures perfect stitches on both sides of the fabric, while the presser foot pressure adjustment adapts to lightweight or thick fabrics. The extended free arm provides 215 mm of space to the right of the needle, making it easy to handle large projects.
