What are the advantages of the serger?
Easy threading and adjustment of thread tension
You can easily choose the type of stitch you want to sew by pressing the stitch change button. Then you can adjust the tension of the four threads (upper looper, lower looper, right needle and left needle) with just the press of a button. This automatic feature greatly improves the efficiency and enjoyment of sewing. A dial is available to allow precise adjustment of looper thread tensions
Changing settings
Features of the Juki MO-3500 Sumato overlocker, such as sewing speed, thread chain length, LED lamp color temperature, and overlock control, can be easily changed using the LCD display and control buttons.
Micro-elevator
With the micro lifter system used for smooth sewing on thicknesses, it is possible to lift the presser foot up to 2.5 mm, which allows you to sew delicate, elastic fabrics, or to create tight hems.
Knee pad
Thanks to the included knee lift, you have the possibility to raise and/or lower the presser foot up to 6 mm on the overlocker. Your hands remain free to guide the fabric. The foot rises automatically when approaching thickets for easy and precise crossing. Goodbye to unsightly overlapping stitches!
Pedal with independent switch
The foot pedal and foot switch operate independently of each other. The foot pedal has additional functions, including the ability to make half stitches, sew at a very slow speed, or cut the thread chain. A standard tractor foot is also included for consistent feed.
Adjustable lighting
LED lamps allow a temperature adjustment that varies between daylight and soft white light. This adjustment of the LEDs helps avoid potential problems resulting from the interaction between certain fabric and thread colors.
