The BERNINA L 890 combines overlock stitching and coverstitching (coverlock) in a single machine. This computerized 2/3/4/5-thread overlocker-coverstitch machine features the BERNINA One Step air threader and a color touchscreen. It sews at up to 1,350 stitches/min.
What are the features of the BERNINA L 890?
Stitch width from 3 to 9 mm (combined stitches 7–11 mm), differential feed and stitch length adjustable while sewing, disengageable upper knife, 100-stitch memory, 143 mm of space to the right of the needle, and a hands-free system (FHS). Stitches: 4-thread overlock, 3-thread overlock (wide/narrow, ultra-stretch), 3-thread flatlock, 3-thread rolled hem, chainstitch, and coverstitch.
How do you use the BERNINA L 890?
The One Step air threader threads the loopers with a simple press of the foot pedal. The touchscreen (sewing assistant, stitch optimizer, animations) and the mtc button make adjustments intuitive. Switch from overlocking to coverstitching for professional finishes and hems.
