Brenda will answer you on WhatsApp, Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
From Jodoigne, it is about a twenty-minute drive along the N91, which heads down towards Wavre via Incourt. The shop is in Grez-Doiceau, right beside Chaussée de Wavre. It is a journey you make once to choose your sewing machine: instruction is then provided in the shop or remotely, and delivery covers the entire region.

Take the N91 towards Wavre, then Chaussée de Wavre in Grez-Doiceau. About twenty minutes, a little longer from Zétrud-Lumay or Piétrain. Allow time on site: trying a machine deserves to be done without watching the clock.

What is decided on-site and what can be arranged remotely
The test: in the shop
Noise under load and feeding across three layers distinguish the models within a few minutes. This cannot be delegated, and the guide which sewing machine to choose for beginners prepares you for your visit.
Getting started: your choice
More than an hour, included with every machine purchase. From Jodoigne, it takes just twenty minutes to return, but the remote option is also available. The programme includes threading, tension settings and useful stitches.
Delivery: everywhere
Free for purchases over €500 on machines and from €75 on fabrics, cut to the ordered length. See the delivery costs.
The workshop: a round trip
A preliminary message tells you whether the issue can be resolved by readjusting the settings or whether the machine needs to be brought in.

Machines by use
Verotex is a Juki Concept Store and an official dealer of BERNINA, bernette and Lewenstein.
- Machines for beginners, mechanical or electronic.
- Semi-professional models for intensive sewing.
- Overlock machines and coverstitch machines for finishing and jersey.
- Embroidery machines and quilting machines.
- Ironing equipment and cutting machines.
The workshop: repair and servicing for all brands
The workshop accepts all brands, machines purchased from Verotex as well as those bought elsewhere, with a quote provided before any work. Almost everything can be repaired on site; the part is sent to the manufacturer only when there is no other option. BERNINA machines are repaired regardless of their age.
Servicing every two years is sufficient for normal use, and once a year for heavy use: lint builds up under the feed dogs, tensions eventually slip, and the stitch suffers before you notice it. From Jodoigne, the journey is short, and sending a message beforehand avoids a wasted trip. In between visits, cleaning your overlocker is easy to do at home. For everything else, see the repair and servicing service.
Fabrics, haberdashery and patterns
Fabrics are cut by the metre, on request, and shipped everywhere. The drape of viscose, the weight of French Terry, and the feel of linen are best judged between your fingers: just a twenty-minute drive away, it is worth the trip before ordering. Cotton poplin, denim, double gauze and organic fabrics make up most of the fabric cuts shipped out.
These are complemented by haberdashery, sewing patterns, machine accessories and a guide to finding the grainline.
Learn to sew from Jodoigne
Sewing and pattern-making classes are held in Grez-Doiceau, in small groups. There are also children's classes and classes held off-site. The space can be rented for a sewing team-building event or a birthday party.
Is the trip worthwhile?
Yes, if
- you are buying a machine: one visit is enough to decide;
- your machine is making a new noise or skipping stitches;
- you want to see and touch the fabrics before ordering.
Not necessarily, if
- you already know which model you want: free delivery on purchases over €500, with remote guidance;
- you order fabric: it is cut to the ordered length and shipped by carrier;
- it is a simple adjustment: the message often fixes it;
